The Sarpanch Challenge
We place direct accountability on local village leaders (sarpanches) to take pride in and upgrade government schools in their jurisdiction. CJP registers and tracks these commitments.
Citizen Social Audits
Parents and local community members inspect local government schools and audit 4 basic metrics: Toilet sanitation, clean drinking water, electricity/lighting, and mid-day meal quality.
Evidence-Based Reporting
When deficiencies are found, parents document them via video or photos, using the official audit form to compile evidence and lodge formal complaints to district collectors.

Each checkbox accounts for 25% of educational basic infrastructure standards compliant under the Right to Education (RTE) Act guidelines.
RTE Schedule Norms
Under the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education (RTE) Act, every government school must conform to standard infrastructure norms including all-weather buildings, barrier-free access, clean drinking water, and functional separate toilets for boys and girls.
